Man brutally stabbed to death

A 35-year-old man was stabbed to death allegedly by two men and a woman in Brandvlei.

According to Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police spokesperson, the incident took place at approximately 4.30am on Saturday, 5 November.

It is unclear under which circumstance the stabbing took place, however, when police arrived, community members assisted officers in tracking the suspects.

The police managed to recover the murder weapon as well as the three suspects aged between 25 and 29.

The suspects had their first court appearance on Monday, 7 November, however, police are urging members of the public to come forward with any information that can assist in the investigation.

“The circumstances surrounding the incident is under investigation and the police urgently need more information,” Ernst said.
